Papperskretsen
This campaign site aimed to promote recycling of paper. Swedish pop artist Oskar Linnros was involved too!
About the client
Papperskretsen is a Swedish company working to improve the enviroment by promoting the recycling of paper. The agency Bertnzon Bylund contacted us to develop an interactive site about recycling.
Challenge
The site involves one of Sweden's most famous pop artists, Oskar Linnros, who designed a bag made of a newspaper. In the campaign, you could order this bag and watch the music video in a fun and interactive way. The aim of the site was to promote the recycling of paper.
Solution
We did a Flash-based website in ActionScript 3 with complex features. It was supposed to give a feel of an 80's intro vignette. There was a lot of movement to coordinate. The site required a custom-built movie player and integration with the Google maps API.
Final result
It was a short but intense project that received plenty of attention. The site was nominated in the Spinn awards and the song by Oskar Linnros received an award for best promotional song.
