My Samsung Experience

My Experience Center is a platform allowing users to share experiences and information about Samsung products.

About the client

Challenge

To transition from a respected brand to a loved brand, Samsung needed to establish a two-way dialogue with their customers. One technical challenge for Fröjd, dealing with such a large company, was accessing the production environment and servers in an efficient manner. 

Solution

My Experience Center is a forum and platform which gives the clients an opportunity to explore, discuss and share experiences about using Samsung products to improve the quality of everyday life. This is the first major initiative for Samsung to communicate constantly with their clients and understand customer needs.

My Experience Center needed to become a flexible community site with functions for easy publication.  EpiServer met both these requirements and technology requirements from the customer.  One major feature of the site is the Flash game "Connect" where the user attempt to connect devices in a portal-style puzzle game.

Challenge

Openness was the critical term when Sitra envisioned their new website. They had earlier received some criticism for being too enclosed. Now, they want to use their website as a platform to generate debates and collect new opinions concerning their projects.

Solution

Our winning suggestion with Deasign was a site where every project could retrieve content such as user comments from external sources like Twitter, Facebook and blogs. This creates the feeling of an ongoing debate in a modern forum.  Fröjd and Deasign competed against over 30 other agencies and the simplicity and speed of our solution was one of the reasons they chose us.
