My Experience Center is a platform allowing users to share experiences and information about Samsung products.
About the client
The Samsung Group is one of the world's largest business groups. It consists of a large number of companies, including Samsung Electronics, Samsung Heavy Industries and Samsung Engineering & Construction. Samsung was founded in 1922 in South Korea and today they are world-class leaders in 60 products. During 2008, the company was the world's second largest supplier of mobile phones.
Challenge
To transition from a respected brand to a loved brand, Samsung needed to establish a two-way dialogue with their customers. One technical challenge for Fröjd, dealing with such a large company, was accessing the production environment and servers in an efficient manner.
Solution
My Experience Center is a forum and platform which gives the clients an opportunity to explore, discuss and share experiences about using Samsung products to improve the quality of everyday life. This is the first major initiative for Samsung to communicate constantly with their clients and understand customer needs.
My Experience Center needed to become a flexible community site with functions for easy publication. EpiServer met both these requirements and technology requirements from the customer. One major feature of the site is the Flash game "Connect" where the user attempt to connect devices in a portal-style puzzle game.
